Kanika Raheja



Kanika Raheja, who completed her post-graduation from St. Stephen’s College (University of Delhi), is now pursuing her doctorate degree in medical physics from Sri Venkateswara College, University of Delhi while working on cancer treatment.  Working as a research fellow in collaboration with All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) and Inter University Accelerator Centre (IUAC) , She is developing a new technique for the  effective treatment of the localised cancers. With this she hopes to minimize the side effects of the treaments available today and help millions of patients worldwide.

She has been featured in varied National news papers and magazines for her contributions in widely different fields like social activism, science, writing, tarot card reading, numerology, dancing and acting. Her candid interview by Archana Khare Ghose has been featured in the Sunday Times of India for her work as a youth leader with India Against Corruption. Her work  for " Jan Lokpal " including her interview was covered by Governance now. While she has appeared several times on the Delhi times of The Times of India , she also has a  major scientific research paper published in an International Science Journal of Elsevier.

Having such varied interests Kanika has made her mark in the field of media as well. She has co-directed and edited a short film titled, “I too have a dream!”, worked in a Punjabi Chart buster "The Thar-ian" and has an upcoming major motion picture in her kitty. Kanika believes " No Matter how long or short you get to live your passions , you should live them anyway" 

She has been actively involved with NGO’s like UDYAAN CARE and HELPAGE INDIA in the past years. She had worked with  ‘HelpAge India’ for creating awareness and
raising funds in the year 2004 and 2006.She was also a member of Social Service Society of her college in the year 2007-08. During that time, she  worked in various fields including campus cleaning, Blood donation camps etc.
 She had also served as the president of women developement centre of her College in the year 2008-2009.During that time, She addressed areas like women empowerment, self-defense, women achievers etc.  She has been associated with ‘UDYAAN Care’ in their Big Friend-Little Friend project where she has helped children from the slums of Delhi to utilize all the oppurtunities available to them and aquire a proper education for a better tomorrow.


Lately, She has launched her newest venture along with her mother as God Grace Enterprises where she hopes to bring all of the cult sciences like Vedic Astrology, Vastu Shastra and all of the spiritual sciences like Energy Healing, Meditation etc under one roof for the service of the mankind. All this and more truely makes her a perfect example of beauty with brains.
